Wax has been droppin' all kinds of news over at WickedUnderground.com lately about the new bonus chapter to the saga:
That's right, Corey has been behind the keys making new music for the last month or so, and with the first 2 EP's having exclusive production by one composer the 3rd Bonus EP, The Crow's Perspective, will follow the same path. For those that don't know or simply forgot, Corey has been making beats forever. He produced quite a few songs on Triple 9's album "postTRAUMAtic" and a bunch of stuff for Rydas Records when we were all affiliated.

The stuff he's sent me, just the little snippets, has helped my mind a great deal. Definitely absract, more along the lines of Trainman than Terror Campaign but definitely going to have a different feel than the other 2. About to start recording and this shit should be ready within the next couple weeks for purchase!

First up Venomouz Wrath posted up a free EP on Facebook, and it's pretty fucking fresh. Dude's definitely bringing something new to the table.

First off, The Monster of the 815 is NO Longer an exclusive full LP and it will be pushed back...but when it comes out it will be a legacy mixtape featuring 2 Discs of Material for the album.

Disc 1 will include:
- New Intro (1 Track)
- Self-Titled & Self-Inflicted (2 Tracks)
- Tracks from Brain Dead Projex (1 Track)
- the Upcoming album, Giallo Grindhouse (5 Tracks)
- Possible Devil'z Nite either accepted or Rejected Tracks (1 or 2 Tracks)

Disc 2 will include:
- An Old "Cryptic Soul" Track (1 Track)
- Some Possible Unreleased Material (? Track[s])
- Sacrifice [Screwed Version] (1 Track)

Second, The New albums is an EP that the title has already been announced, entitled Giallo Grindhouse, the new EP will be 6 Brand New tracks from Cryptik X and will spawn one Single entitled "Dark Paths" for a listening pleasure and will feature production ONLY by Cryptik X and collabs with a couple guys (more info to come soon on that).

Third, I found some OLD Instrumentals that shall either be put up for FREE Download or possibly sold. Depends and still working on it

I just completed recording the entire album of MOTCG, and after previewing a early version of the album, right before i send it off to corey and co. for the mastering of the album, i have to say, it makes me very happy to see my ideas are now reality.
I have a few people to thnk personally that were my mentors, friends and good support during the making of this album:

Bad Mind- you made my life easier while recording this album, and you were the one who produced most of the album's songs(he produced 10 of the 12 songs for the album itself) without you, the album's feel and dark imagery wouldnt have been possible. Thank you alot bro.

Crossworm- dude you taught me alot of mixing along with Bad Mind, plus you gave me insight into the engineer side of things. Even gave me the ability tomix my own shit no lie. Thanks for giving this album the dirtcore sound of approval!

Chamber- Dude is mega slept on, one of the most talented producers and mc's here on the boards. You will get your shine bro. Thank you for the sound you provided for the album.

Trips- for being such a cool cat and for having many good thoughts on making music, especially lyricism. I respect your flow and style!

Wax- Dude you are my new best friend. always postive, gave me good thughts and always had faith in me and my abilities to create this album.

Corey @ Lacore- Thank you for takin gthis project on, and from day one supporting me when it was needed, when it came down to the nitty gritty, you not only did what you said you were gonna do, but you were almost immediate in whatever i needed to help me move the album along. Viva Lacore!

Likewize- dude your acting is top knotch and you really gave life to some of the characters in the film/story/album! I always appreciate your work, and the way you handle the skits you do on albums. I'm glad we go to share ideas and shit, and you killed it in your part.

And also to a visionary, Pez of Cicada-dude, you are the shit homey. you are a artist that has a way with making the art pop out and come alive. I thank you alot bro!

WAX SERIES TO BECOME TRILOGY?

There is a strong strong posibility that included with the pressed version of the combined Terror Campaign/Trainman EP's, that a 3rd chapter so to speak will be added as a bonus to make it a trilogy of sorts.

This 3rd installment will feature brand new production from A Roc and Shy One, but will only be maybe 4 songs...still, that's pretty sick considering I had no intention on releasing this until 12 hours ago.

DEVILZ NITE 2010 NEWS!

I just hopped on wickedunderground.com, and saw this massive update by Crossworm with a new website, and one other little tidbit that is sure to flip wigs, it sure flipped mine.

Ladies and gentlemen of the Wicked Underground, our time has come early. Starting tomorrow, (a month and a half in advance) I will begin accepting song submissions for DEVILZ NITE 2010. There are a few organizational reasons for the early jump off, but the good news is that everyone has more time to put their best foot forward, and bring the evil !

With this, comes the new official DEVILZ NITE domain, as well as Facebook Fan page. I've already been busting my ass to make this a very successful season, and the upgrades will continue throughout the year. No matter what your favorite site, or forum is to receive your wicked underground music, and news, you will always be able to find it here:

The deadline this year is October 17th. (I want to try something a bit different with the delivery of the compilation, and it may take a few extra days to accomplish.)

Artwork design for this years Devilz Nite is open to the public. If you want your artwork considered, it must meet the following criteria:
it must say:
“Crossworm and the Wicked Underground Present: Devilz Nite 2010″

the MINIMUM measurements must be :
4.75″ or 4.75″
150dpi (important for fan printing)
24 bit RGB (please do not use 32 bit CMYK)
(I think this should equate to 713 x 713 pixels)

1 : WHAT IS DEVILZ NITE?

-The Devilz Nite series is a FREE annual music compilation. It is always available the night before Halloween as a digital download.

2 : WHAT KIND OF MUSIC IS IT?

-Devilz Nite is specifically geared to the wicked underground, which is a scene that is comprised of multiple genres of very dark and aggressive / hardcore hip hop. Some of these genres include, (but are not limited to); Horrorcore, Wicked Shit, Acid Rap, Death Rap, Devil Shyt, etc. Every year, Devilz Nite houses the darkest music the wicked underground has to offer.

3 : WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR DEVILZ NITE?

-Crossworm is the music director for the Devilz Nite compilation. He is responsible for organizing the entire project.

4 : WHO CREATED IT?

-Devilz Nite was created by Menacide in 2003. Menacide organized the series until 2009 and left it to his successor, Crossworm.

5 : WHAT IS ITS PURPOSE?

-The Compilation was created as a free download to give back to the fans of the genre. It is the first, foremost, most well known and BEST wicked underground compilation series, bar none.

6 : WHO CAN BE ON A DEVILZ NITE COMPILATION?

-The submission is open to any recording artist, as long as the criteria is met.
-When Menacide first started Devilz Nite, he would approach artists himself about submitting to the compilation. Artists whom he personally thought were the best and brightest in the scene.

7 : WHAT IS THE SUBMISSION CRITERIA?

-The music must be hip hop (and/or a closely related Urban genre), it must be very dark (preferably the darkest an artist can write), it must be well written, and it must be the best quality possible.
-The submissions must be a high res MP3 (320kbps ONLY). Nothing else will be accepted, and anything else will be trashed.
-The submissions must be labeled. Please label your song with the artist(s) name and title. If your song is not labeled, it will be trashed. It WILL NOT be listened to at all.
-There is no cap on the amount of songs an artist can submit. Send as many as you like.
-The song must have NEVER been released prior to the submission.

8 : WHERE DO I SUBMIT MY SONGS?

9 : WHY IS IT CALLED DEVILZ NITE?

-The compilation was named by Menacide after the Detroit city (and surrounding area’s) colloquial term for the night before Halloween, on October 30th. Historically this night was known as Devil’s Night because of the chaos and destruction that ensues across the city. City officials in the past have tried to rename the night as “Angel’s Night” in an attempt to reverse the effects. For more info on that night click here:
